Course Curriculum Overview

4

1.why i chose IT in DTU? : i chose IT over other branches in DTU because of the placement stats. The average package of IT in DTU is 25 lakhs in 2022-23. 2. Faculty and student ratio : the faculty, I will rate them 3/5 because some of faculties are very good they teachs very well but some are just come to complete the formalities. In my class their are 64 students total in which only two girls. So you can think it by own that what is the ratio in engineering. 3. Faculties: In DTU faculties are very qualified but the thing is they are bored now and shows less interest but this is not for everyone. Most of faculties are very good they are excellent ????. 4. Exams in DTU: after 2 months of starting the semester the mid sem will come. But you don't have to take much load of it. If you prepare just 1 week before mid sem and 2 week before end sem you can score very well in exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

1. Lots of good companies come during internship season in DTU like Microsoft, Google etc. If you have good skills you can easily get into it with very good stipend money. 2.To get into good company you have to do so many projects create some new and do some creative so that companies can find you.

Placement Experience

4.5

1.Placement eligibility: after completing 6th semester you can sit in campus placements 2. Every good company visit DTU every year and lots of students get placed with very good package. For eg in 2022-23 atlassian which is very good MNC gave 82 lakhs of highest package. 3. Around 80% of students get placed in good company every year in DTU which is very good percentage and rest of them switch to higher studies like doing MTECH and MBA. 4. My plan after getting degree from DTU is to do job for 2 years and get some experience in corporate life and then complete MBA from good college.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Fees in DTU: In DTU, in first year you to first fill the seat acceptance fee during counseling which was 95k in 2023 and after completing the counselling I had to pay 1.34lakhs. I think fees in DTU is very high and every year their is some Percentage of increase in fees every year. 2. Their is some scholarship given by college itself. If you have some financial problems then you can apply for it after the admission in college. And fees you had given will be refunded in your account. In starting of 3rd year most of companies come on campus for internship season in which you can very decent stipend

Campus Life

4

In DTU, Their is a annual fest which is name as engifest which is north India largest fest. Engifest comes in the month of February. Their so many fests happens in our college so the campus life is very chill and happening all the time. 2.their is very big library in DTU you can get every book and journals in that library. 3.Their is very big sports complex in DTU where you can play any sport you want to play. Here you can follow your any passion in sports. 4. Their are so many societies in DTU. Which makes college life very cool here you can learn so many skills and explore your self by experiencing so many new things.

Admission

1. Eligibility: You have to clear jee mains for which you have to opt. PCM in 11th standard. DTU give admission on the basis of your rank in jee mains. 2. How to apply? : fill your jee examination from nta official website. Application fees will be around 1500?. Applications for jee mains starts around last week in December. When you will clear the examination than you have to fill the form for jac counselling in which there are colleges like DTU,NSUT,IIITD,IGDTUW and DSEU. To register in jac counselling you have to 1500? application fees . 3.Reservation: there are reserved seat in DTU for sc, st and OBC students. 4. Opinion: I think Colleges of Delhi should also be join in josaa counselling which can make ease to students to opt more colleges and branches and the process will become more simple

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, average package goes from 5lpa to 10lpa. Highest it has went 84lpa in Amazon so far and can for sure grow in future. 7th semester students become eligible for placement drives and companies like amazon, microsoft, newgen, tcs, ibm, etc are major recruiters here. Around 80% students do get placed but you can definitely be among them by refining your skills and maintaining a good cgpa. I plan to go for off campus placements as well as I'm interested in AI related roles but hoping for even better.

Placement Experience:

The placements are fantastic , many companies like google amazon and FAANG companies come here . Although i cant compare it with top IIT s but still a 25 lakh per annum package in CSE is still remarkable. The placement cell is often influenced by Placement coordinator but then DTU takes action against them and debar them from placements . If one does not get placement in DTU. , the DTU tag will obviously be more than useful in after course placements

Placements begin from 3rd year end and go on for the complete 4th year. Companies like ZS associates, google, amazon, juspay etc have visited the campus in the past. Highest package for the last year was more than 1 crore. Avg package is somewhere between 7-9 lpa. 50-60 % students get placemnt from the college including off campus placements. I plan to either start my masters or join a good job if possible as whatever situation arises at the end of my course at this college.
