What Students Say

Likes

Campus and club activities like NCC camping and drill held by NCC instrustor.
WIFI supplied all over the campus with some restrictions to restricted sites
Some Faculties are so friendly and approachable.

Dislikes

Managements of faculty is quite awful but can't help it as its new course there.
Scope of sports activities as there is no ground or space enough to play.
Distribution of information, limited holidays and strictness over class attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview

As you would know as per industry there is high demand of applied machne learning and IOT devices and also the interest in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science you can chose for this course without a second a thought. A faculty:student ratio is good but not upto my expectation because this course is new and my batch will be very first batch who will graduate from this college with Btech degree. So,number of faculties are not upto expectation.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 132500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Since this course is new at vivekananda institute of professional studies there has not been any placement drive or internship information yet but i know for sure that this gonna happen, as soon as we enter final year or 6th semester

Fees and Financial Aid

For my batch fees was rupees 13200/- but for next batch it hikes by 5000/- rupees or more may be i don't know for sure. But there are several scholorship for below poverty line people or families with food security card who cannot afford this much. some are offered by Delhi Gov. like merit cum means scholorship and some are offered by GGSIPU itself.

Campus Life

Life at campus is quite good, there are several societies and cultural clubs like enactus and NCC which helps improve overall personality of a student, and there are some annual fest held by such socities like Spandan and Initio. Whole campus is fully air conditioned and every student can have WIFI access all over the BTech building. Library is fulled with Books and journals.

Admission

Eligibilty of course is anyone from science background opted Physics, Chemistry and Maths aggregated minimum 75% and clear specific cutoff in JEE main exam. and Admission was through GGSIPU registration i.e. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university, You can find registration process and application form from their website

Placement Experience:

Students are available to get placed starting sem 7, the placements of my college are great, it's fairly easy to get placed, most students get placed by the end of sem 8, Companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to our college, the highest placed student this year was 80 lakhs, all the companies mentioned above took atleast 4-10, students. Around 80% students are placed for sure, My plans after getting the degree is to become a content creator whole doing my job, trying to balance everything, also i have plans to start my own business

Placement Experience:

Placement offers are not that good, like if you're pursuing other courses than btech so the placement is good but in btech, tech companies don't come that often, so you have to develop your skills during your academics and apply offline for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.

Life and learning at ADGIPS

Course Curriculum Overview:

industry relevent topics like ai , python , oops, numpy ,pandas, sql , etc with balance with theory and also with maths good for job readliness in tech role because of sql , pandas and machine learnig like laguages in collage teachers are still using old studioes for programming they are not switching to vs studio and jupyter notebook like studios papers are moderate but they are too frequent like 2 mid tearm with externam practical and then end term and center of exams some time placed at very far place which is not good

DTU- a glimpse

Placement Experience:

The campus placements starts from the beginning of the 7th semester. The stats of the top-branches is quite good, more the 80 percent students who applied for the placements get offers. The major tech-companies like Google, Microsoft ,Amazon, Uber,SalesForces,Meesho etc visits for the campus placement. The highest package offered till now is 1.84CR by the amazon ireland, the avg package of the tech branches lies between 18-20lpa. overall 75-85 students get placed.

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
