Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because it was the best course I was being offered with my rank. I Do not have an exact Idea about Student Teacher ratio but its pretty great. roughly speaking its an easy 1:10 teacher ratio. All faculty members are PHD or MTECH Holders. Traching method is great but some of the faculty members are not very interested in teaching despite the potential they hold within. Mid Term exams were conducted within first 2 weeks of admission in college, Endsems were conducted after 3 months of admission and frankly speaking, it is easy to pass but difficult to score good.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I am In my first year and cannot precisely tell about internships but students can intern in various companies summer break of third year. or after 5th semester. I have heard students interning in companies like samsung, google and various government firms like IOCL etc.

Placement Experience

5

Placements offered by DTU is top notch and at par with IITs. Various dream companies like google, microsoft, amazon visits the campus for recruitment every year. I am currently in my First year and Don't have an exact idea but I have heard some students getting placement from the start of third year. Speaking of Placement session of 2023, 325+ companies visited the campus and 1900+ Students were placed. Highest domestic package was given by Atlassian which is 82.5LPA CTC. Major recruiters were GOOGLE, SAMSUNG, SALESFORCE, SPRINKLR MICRROSOFT, Adobe, Uber etc. About 90% of the students were placed in one or more companies as per the official data. I plan to go for masters in business administration after my BTECH DEGREE.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is hiked by about 5% every year and on average doing Btech from Delhi Technological University costs for about 12 Lacs for 4 years without any scholarships. There are various scholarships provided by DTU according to combined annual income of family.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus Life is pretty good and chill. Various annual fests are conducted like Engifest in February, Arena in November and a fresher's function for freshers on September (1 month after new admissions). Aside from official fests, a lot of minor fests are conducted by various societies of DTU. Course Books and various Journals are available in library. Not much amenities are provided in classroom except some seats, one or two windows and a whiteboard. nothing special. We have cricket ground, vadminton ground, lawn tennis, basketball, chess ,table tenis in DTU. Cricket pitch is very huge and big, like a small stadium. ASSETS DTU is a Club I am in and it is a society which provides knowledge of finance and investment to students.

Admission

Admission process was fine. Neither too bad nor too good. I took JEE MAIN -2023 Examination and to get my branch one needs atleast 98 percentile or a rank less than 20000. Eligibility: Minimum of 60% aggregrate in CBSE Board Exams. Application form, Application dates and fees can found on JAC DELHI website. I did not avail any reservations. Yes, the admission process should be pretty fast which could be achieved by alloting branchwise time intervals.

Other Applied Colleges

Netaji Subhas University of Technology - [NSUT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mathematics and Computing)

NSUT has a very strict approach to academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
