Course Curriculum Overview

My passion towards Statistics and Data Science allowed me to choose this course and Maximum 60 students were allocated to one faculty and the each faculty holds PhD and a minimum master degree. And our faculties follow continue evaluation of 70 marks internals which includes mids, assignments, quizzes, etc and 30 marks external.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure - 75000 ( B.sc. 2021 batch) And any person holding above 8.5 CGPA will get scholarship depending on the score. And we also get sibling or alumni scholarship. Also scholarship amount ranges from 25% to 100%

Campus Life

Biggest fest in our college is Pramana. We have various books of different authors available in our library and at the same time, we do have ebook facility . And the support we get for almost every sport is good and the infrastructure is available too. Clubs - kalakriti, Anveshna etc And SIG's too

Admission

GITAM University offers various courses in UG,PG and PhD. Admission is through GAT (Gitam Admission Test). Eligibility criteria - must pass 10+2 with atleast 60 percent. We can find the application form in GITAM official website.

This curriculum completely deals with forest related aspects and forest management influenced me alot in choosing this course Well curriculum sadly doesn't prepare us for real world because there applying this subject everywhere is not possible and further pursuit can only be done if the candidate choose only civils or icar for pg entrance There are few suggestions from my side to improve the course curriculum and teaching methods Curriculum should focus not only on courses but also mental health, personality development, campus placement. Exams are very frequent which is unnecessary

Placement Experience:

My college for student who are pursuing BCA course usually get placements during their 5th and 6th semester it was about 4lpa-5lpa. We usually get Mahindra,TCS, Infosys. Our college highest package is about 4lpa-5lpa and lowest was about 2lpa. In our college students with good percentage in their placement exam will get placements.
