- Students operated clubs are very active (talking about NSUT main campus clubs)
- most of the Crowd of college is quite good
- Since number of students is quite high therefore you can interact with variety of students.
Dislikes
- NSUT is very strict about attendance and rules.
- You have to maintain at least 75% attendance to sit in examinations.
- Some of the faculty are very poor in teaching .
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about ECAM branch that is Electronics and communication engineering with articifial intelligence and machine learning. It is in east campus of NSUT . I was getting mechanical in main campus and ECAM in east campus so keeping placement as main concern , I choose ECAM. Faculty student ratio is quite okay . There is 1 faculty for almost 16 students . Faculties are well qualified and teaching method of most of the faculty is also good . Each semester is almost of 4 months which consists of mainly 2 exams that is end semester exams and mid semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
Students are eligible for internship from 3rd year. Companies like microsoft , amazon gives internship oppotunities to students. If you maintain good CGPA and learn DSA (for technical internships ) Or your core subjects (for core branch internship) then it wil have good chance to grab internship.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good in NSUT. Generally students of 4rd year are eligible for the placement and students of 3rd year are eligible for internship. Mostly all major companies come for the placement .
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is quite high . For students who had taken admission in 2022 , fees for 1st year is 2.2 lakhs and 2.3 laks , 2.4 lakhs , 2.5 lakhs for 2nd year , 3rd year and 4th year respectively . There is government scholarship for reserved category students.
Campus Life
college life in east campus is not so good . if we talk specifically about nsut east campus only then there is nothing but you can go main campus any time and in main campus all clubs are very active .
Admission
In order to take admission in NSUT , you have to clear jee mains exam and then apply for JAC delhi counselling. You have to score atleast 95+ percentile to take addmission in NSUT and 98-99 percentile for CS related branches. Application forms for JAC delhi releases after jee result on their website .
