The XIME way

I chose this course as it had a lot of exposure and the learning involved in a PGDM course is more by doing (practical cases) rather than theory. we have 60 faculty 300 students so the ratio is 1:5. All the faculty members are highly qualified. 90% of them are Ph.D. holder and they have extensive industry experience, their teaching methods are very interactive and they grade us based on how we perform and our efforts to learn rather than just a pen-and-paper test. Exams are conducted every month. exams are of intermediate difficulty, whats Xime teaches us is how to manage our time better to be able to study beforehand so we all pass with flying colors.

Some internship companies: Edukemy, kindly, Cummins, Team Lease, salesforce, Dell, HP, HPE, softshell, hiveminds, Ceat Tyres, KPMG, EY, Digit Insurance, Pega Systems, PeakAlpha, Accenture, Oracle projects: Social eminence, Social Media enhancement, financial analytics, SAP, tech risk, cloud security, HR - BP, Supply chain management, operations management, logistics design, just-in-time integration.

We have a tri-semester system. A total of six semesters in two years. The students become eligible for placements right after the completion of 4 semesters. The only criterion for placements is to maintain an aggregate of 4.8 /8 cgpa. our highest package this year has been 22 Lakh. We get all big companies including the Big 4 come to campus and recruit. We get offers for profiles of Marketing, Finance, Operations, and HR. We have had a record of 100% placement every year and it has been consistent for the last decade that we increase the average package offered to our students every year. I am in my 5 semesters and am already placed in EY, and we have already had 85% of our students placed.

They hike the fees by around 10% every year and it covers almost 90% of the cost to study. I have been awarded the XIME Ambassador award with a scholarship money of 50000. We have multiple scholarships for academic achievements, co-curricular, and over development and the highest scholarship is batch topper and overall achiever worth rupees 500000. Through campus, I got multiple live projects with a stipend ranging between 5-6K per month. I also got a summer internship from my college internship cell with a stipend of 25k for two months.

Our annual fest is called Ximera. It has a footfall of 4k people and it is conducted in February. We get all the resources and books in our library, and we also have access to tools like Statista and Turnitin for our projects. we have smart classrooms with multiple technical amenities and learning and learning are fun. Sports and clubs are taken very seriously in our college. we have multiple domain-based clubs that conduct activities and speaker sessions on a regular basis and the sports club is very active and conducts sports events every month. We have a social club called Xseed which organises a lot of visits to villages and orphanages and we try to do our best to support, educate, and contribute towards them as much as we can.

We have triple-sharing rooms in our hostels. the facilities are good and we have a small garden to roam around and get fresh air. The mess food is good and they change the menu regularly to add new items. we have a residential campus so there is no separate process for registration of hostels. Our college is based in Electronic City Phase 2 of Bangalore, we are surrounded by various industries and we have all the needed amenities nearby. the locality is safe for girls and we have restaurants too which are good hangout spots when we are free.

It was a very smooth and seamless process. Admission was merit-based and the eligibility was having a graduate degree. They Considered various achievements throughout my educational journey. I found the application form on the college website. they have a very good, easy-to-navigate website where anyone can find any information easily. The application fee was 1500 rupees. I didn't avail of any reservation as I wasn't eligible. I think the admission process is very good and they don't need to change anything.

The topic for my GD was the rise of Cryptocurrency and its demand. most topics were current affairs and the interview questions were based on my Graduation and work experience. The process of admission was very seamless, I had no problem navigating through my admission journey as there were representatives available to help at every step and they were easy to reach through call/text. the criteria for admission were merit-based and the scores of exams like CAT, GMAT, etc. were considered, but more weightage was given to achievements throughout our educational or work experience journey. I spoke to some alumni before the interviews and they guided me throughout the process.
