Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I had a passion for studying computers and software technology. The faculty: student ratio was 25:1. The faculty members were qualified enough, with many of them with a Ph.D. or pursuing a Ph.D.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college offered good internship opportunities for all students regardless of their course. There were also good opportunities to participate in inter-college project competitions and national level.

Placement Experience

The campus placement is good for my computer engineering course. There are a lot of good companies coming for placement such as Jio, Ingram, and Nvent. I didn't take placement as I was pursuing a master's degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was flexible with 150000 rs per year for pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer engineering. I didn't receive any scholarship for my course. SIES did have provisions for economically weak families.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is buzzing with students and has good amenities. There are plenty of student clubs to join such as NSS and IEEE. The college also has good labs and recreational buildings for leisure activities.

Admission

I took the MHT-CET entrance exam to get admission to SIES. The minimum cutoff for my course was 90 percentile. You can find the application for MHTCET on the official website. SIES also has a merit quota for students with high percentile.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

SIES A Honing Edge for young minds

I had applied for MIT pune and VIT after the jee and cet exams I never recieved any feedback from MIT. However i recieved 31000 rank in VITEE and thus applied for the admission process. However i got a seat in VIT Vellore ina higher fee bracket which was not ideal. Since i believed that further education(MBA Mtech) Was also required i decided not to spend too much for a college and so chose SIES based on my CET score.
