Remarks :

The eligibility of the course was a graduate and any entrance exam. I took the CAT as an entrance exam. The application form is available on the college's official website and it is easy to access it. All the required details such as application fees, last date to apply, etc. are mentioned on the website. The admission process is quite smooth and transparent. All the communication is well communicated and is on time.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very appropriately designed and executed during the 2 years of the course. Faculties are not just teachers but they are mentors to each student. Teaching here is followed through a proper standard method. There is a trimester pattern followed in the college. For each term, there is a mid-term and an end-term. Exam schedules are planned in such a way that a student should learn to tackle difficult situations in the future. But overall exams are manageable and a student can score well (depending on how sincere a student is).

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are good in the college. But it is also advised to search for interships from students own end to get more surety and to explore more. The highest stipend for our batch was Rs. 30000.

Placement Experience :

Campus Placements are centralized for all the 3 campuses. Good companies with a good package are brought by the placement team. Overall placement drive runs smoothly and the team ensures that each student has a job in hand towards the end of the course. If some student wants to look for a job from outside they are free to do so, but there is a code of conduct signed by each student which needs to be followed strictly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is clearly mentioned on the website which is easily accessible while applying for the college. Tuition fees + hostel fees are included in the total amount. There is an opportunity for an IDFC scholarship provided by the college. During the course too, there are opportunities for merit scholarships. The campus provides jobs during placements (though placement depends on the market situation and the eligibility of the student).

Campus Life :

Life on campus is lively. There are hostel timings for both boys and girls hostel. All the rules are mandatory to follow, if not there are consequences to be faced. A student should behave formally and be disciplined during college hours. There are different clubs - core and non-core. Many activities and fun elements are added to each event conducted at college. Other festivals are also celebrated on the campus with great enthusiasm.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is quite good and to the mark as mentioned in the documents while taking addmission. Rooms are 2 sharing with attached bathroom and now AC facility is also available (extra charges per month). Food Quality is good and hygiene is maintained in the canteen area.

Interview Experience :

The selection process consisted of GD and PI rounds. GD topic to me was Use of Social Media or Books - which is good?. The GD was for 10 mins and each person had to summarize towards the end. Next was a PI round with the management. There the domain questions of your undergraduate, work experience (if any), and other general questions need to be answered by a student. Be honest, calm, and skilled in your domain knowledge as preparation.

Honest and decent

Placement Experience:

From 5th trimester companies start coming for placements. Companies like Infosys, Mercedes Benz, South Indian Bank, Bajaj Allianz, Accenture comes for placements. Placement committee provides full assistance to let students get good placement offers.

Placement Experience:

A student can begin his placement from 3rd semester onwards. Lots of companies are brought by the placement cell of the college. The highest package brought to our seniors was 22 Lakh. Most of the students have achieved placements with average of 5 Lakh salary. Also good and multi national companies have also come like ITC, Varun beverages, infoedge etc

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Almost 98% gets placed from college.
