Course Curriculum Overview
This course had a good curriculum. The case study-based system helps in the practical thinking and critical thinking of the students. The faculty are highly qualified and some faculty also have industry experience. At XIME the Term system is followed so there is an exam every 45 days. Each term has a mid-term exam and an end-term exam. The exams are largely case-based and it is open-ended. If you put up your point and you can justify it you will be able to score decent marks.
Internships Opportunities
The internship average stipend was 25k last year and most big companies hire interns and convert them to full-time employees. The roles are usually decided by the company and projects differ for various domains.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible to sit in the placements from term 4. The average is 10.8 Lak and around 50 companies have visited the campus till now. The highest package is 22 lakhs. The college makes sure that 100 percent of students are placed. some students do opt out of the placement process and take the entrepreneurial journey.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are according to the market and the hike also is nominal. The college has many scholarships and rewards for the students. These scholarships depend on financial status and academic performance. The ROI of XIME is better than the competition.
Campus Life
XIME has a vibrant campus and the student life is very fun and filled with activities. These are classes from 9 - 4 and then there are usually various competitions held by clubs. There are around 12 clubs and committees in XIME. The students also spend most of their time in the library which has a lot of books and also a digital library. The classrooms have smart boards enabled and there are around 60 students in class. There are also speaker sessions held every couple of weeks which helps to give the students a practical idea and connect to the real-life scenarios. There are 2 Gyms, there is a TT table, basketball court, football/cricket ground, tennis court and a pool table where students can take a break from studies and follow their passion for sports. The clubs are in charge of conducting events and also handle their social media page on Linked In and Instagram.
Admission
The admission process was fairly easy The eligibility and the timelines were clearly mentioned on the website The website was simple and easy to navigate and hence the process was easy. The admission process can be improved if the management can be more responsive to phone calls and emails from students.
