Remarks

College encourage students for every activity. I think relative grading should be their so that students dont have any problem if they go for higher studies.

Entrance Preview

For M.Tech,PDPU take their own exam. Exam is based on aptitude and general science. In interview Gate qualified and students who had passed experience in Solar energy are prefered. My main motive was post graduation in Solar energy. I was also eligible for addmission in University of Pune and Nirma university but opted because of PDPU's credentials. PDPU has a well instrumented lab,qualified faculty,energy focused university,institute of national importance and Gujarat government partnership in Institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is well designed and focued on Solar Photovoltaic and materials. Faculty are well rennoned in Solar Field and have research backgrounds and encourage students in. field.

Internships Opportunities

Faculty use their relation and ensure internship for students though PDPU has a well funtional. Paid internship are encouraged and companies show their interest towards students from PDPU.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are good as there are not more then 20 students in a M.Tech course. Most of them get pre-placement offer after internship.

College Events

College provide nice fund, infrastructure for festival. More over there some or other thing always going on in campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Gate and teaching assistantship is provided for Masters students. I have no knowlege about loan.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is good. No crime or missbehaving,no ragging. Excellent extracurriculars like PDPU have club for Dancing, Photography,Movie making,Astromony,debate,fashion, sports,quiz. PDPU also has a club who promote Cycling and give cycle on rent.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good. Every room is three seater with a balcony attached toilet,cupboard for every student. Every floor have watercooler and a microwave. Jaiswal Caterers provide food. I will give them 10 by 10.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Since PDPU is not very old so as such alumni network is not very good. My batch was 3rd batch.

Placement Experience:

Student of last year is eligible for campus placements. Maruti Technolab, eInfochips, Crest Data System, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Simform, AllianceTek Inc, etc.. are some of the companies visited for placements. Highest package is of Amazon having 25 LPA and average package can be 4.5 LPA. &0% of student were getting placed. My plan is to get job in MNC company as AI engineer role.

My timing of exam is 3 hours my college faculty teaching method are very simple so we can understand so we write anything easily. Only basic mechanical engineering subject that I can't understand and I don't like it.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 1st sem itself.Companies like John deer ,Bajaj, Mahindra , Akash institute ,Unacademy (Ed tech platform) visited our campus for our branch.For Civil branch , L and T ,Linde,Midas e.t.c companies visited.For electrical and electronics ,HP,Intel,Microsoft e.t.c visited. Highest package offered was Rs 40 lpa. and average package is Rs 6 lpa.Mostly companies are offering role of PGET .Approximate 70% students got placement through campus.I got placed in Unacademy as a educator of NEET physics with a package of Rs 10 lpa.

Remarks:

The only thing good amidst the chaos is the management but yes they do lack time management. We are there for 10.5 hrs but we think that most of the time there are things that we can get done from home but yet we are made to sit there because attendance carries marks.

I take admission in Pandit deendayal energy university because this college has NAC a++ grade and also obtain 2nd rank in GIRF ranking. This college is better than other college for placements. Pandit Deendayal Energy University

I was also approved for EC course in Nirma University College. I chose PDEU over Nirma primarily because it provided with a better course(ICT). I was not rejected by any colleges. I applied in LJ were I got CS course, In Nirma i got EC course and In PDEU I got ICT. I opted for PDEU as I found ICT more fascinating.
