The atmosphere was very good, it was calm and cool.
The faculty were very friendly and supportive.
There were many events which gave us opportunity to take part in.

The college was in the outskirts of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

The total duration of the course is 4 and a half years, where 4 years are in college and 6 months is internship. There were 8 semesters, one every 6 months and the exams were on time. The difficultly was a bit tough if you do not get the gist of the understanding.

Internships Opportunities

After the completion of 4 years of the course I've opted my internship in AMRI Hospitals, kolkata without any stipend. This is for a duration of 6 months and after which the degree would be issued to us.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no such scholarship for general caste students, but there was some for the reservation students. Financial assistance could be availed in the form of educational loan. The topper of the class gets quite a good amount as a reward.

Campus Life

There were quite some groups in the campus. There were several clubs such as dance club, drama club, singing club, sports club, etc etc. They all consisted of students from all the departments and took part in cultural events.

Admission

The Eligibility was 10+2 pass, with minimum 65 percent in the higher secondary class. Application form and other details are available in their official website. But there is also availability of offline admission.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is very good which almost 100% placement rates in almost all majority courses. Our department start hospital placement from 5th semester onwards. Our college itself also has an outpatient department which helps in practical training of ourselves. Hostel placements in the nursing department starts from first semester itself.

The course fee is much less compared to other colleges. And it is a women's University which is a plus point. The teaching way is very good but classes are not regular. The teachers are friendly they clear every doubt of the students

About Physiotherapy we genralky get our placement from 4th year. Companies that visits are apollo health care, apeksha, fortis,etc About seventy percent of them gets placed every year. My plan is to join hospital. Work for two three years then opening a clinic

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was quite intrigued by medical field so i opted for this course and it is very much to my liking. I find all the courses added in the curriculum are very much important because it is all related to the topics and cases I'll be needing to treat my patients. The college has also added internship in the course which has given us more idea about our course. The course curriculum is very much okay but for the teaching method the lectures should teach in a language which all the students can understand. The exam is held for 3 hours for 70 marks and as the questions are set by our professors it is just as I've said before easy if we study.

Brief Review of Assam Downtown University Guwahati

I choose this college over other school its cheaper it's good 93NIRF ranking and colleges in Assam Guwahati the view the nature the everything here is very nice very green and the universities on mountain Soya the view from the University campus the canteens the cafe is very good.
