Likes

Greenery in the campus is very good especially in winter season when flowers bloom.
Infrastructure is good too considering they have separate labs for gaming and aircraft students.
Teachers behaviour towards the students is good too.

Dislikes

poor Wifi facility. Wifi speed is literally very slow inside the campus as well as in hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose gaming technology just to get to know about the struggles of creating a game. The faculty here is very friendly and helpful, and some of them are strict too, which is good from the point of view of study. VIT Bhopal has a 100% doctoral faculty. Term exams are held every 1.5 or 2 months, and it's not difficult to You'll have a few easy questions, a few medium-level questions, and a very few hard questions.

Internships Opportunities

colleges provide internship opportunities as well. And if you get an internship at any company, then you can take a break from your studies and continue later on. The placement department allows students to get an internship to get real-life experience.

Our college provides campus placements, and from the 7th semester on, students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies offer job during campus placements like Samsung, Microsoft, AMD, Infosys, etc. The placements are categorized as dream opportunities and super-dream opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on the fee category you are getting. And of course, they provide financial assistance and scholarships too. The fee category are from Category 1 to Category 5 category 1 have the lowest fee structure and Category 5 have the highest fee structure.

Campus Life

Campus life is not so good so far. I haven't had any fest here yet after I got admitted here, and I'm a freshman. There are many clubs here, android club, nature club, sports club, photography club, etc.

Admission

Admission to any VIT college is contingent upon passing the entrance exam VITEEE, the results of which will specify which college you can attend and the programs that are available for that particular fee category.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
