Course Curriculum Overview

information technology is an uprising course that will guide us to a bright future. a good faculty service is provided here. assistant professors here are well-educated and mannered. the difficulty level of exams is quite above average.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 2790 per year

Internships Opportunities

some of the students got placed in Infosys. tech by heart, google, Malayala Manorama, etc. internships are usually done in 3rd or 4th year. places selected are mainly Banglore, Kochi, Kozhikode, etc. good internship.

Placement Experience

from 6th semester students get eligible for campus placements. almost half the students get placed every year. I am planning to go for higher studies for MTech. average salary package is around 50000 in a reputed company.

Fees and Financial Aid

a normal student who is admitted on merit has a fee of 35000. you may get a fee waiver based on your rank or category or your parent's annual income. popular scholarships available are Egrantz, MCM, etc. egrantz students will get 10000 and MCM will get 30000 per annum.

Campus Life

the biggest fest here is Diksha. we have a small and calm campus atmosphere. tinkerhub,iedc are some active tech groups here. every academic-related book is available in the library for each department. no novels are available in the college library.

Admission

you should be qualified for the KEAM entrance examination. details about application forms, fees, and dates will be provided on their official website. sslc,+2 are their basic qualification for the admission.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
