Course Curriculum Overview

4

There was great opertunity for Electrical and electronics engineering (EEE) and also I like the course so I choose it.There was above 2000 students in college in different courses and for EEE nearly 250 students were studying.we had a great facilitated labs and teaching method was good, those who are interested can easily catch the subjects. In a year we had 2 semesters and 4 year is the course.so 8 semesters. This course is one of the difficult under engineering.subjects were hard.so passing is quite challenging.we need 35 mark as internal and 40 marks for theoretical, total 75 marks to pass a subject

Internships Opportunities

4

I had done my internship from techbyheat private limited in robotics, which was a great experience and learned a lot. I also done 2 projects first one was a mini project on Alcohol detection of drunk drivers with automatic car engine lock system and the second one was Switched inverter cuk convertor for battery charging application with reverse charging technology

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was 35000 per year and there were extra charges for lab facilities, library etc.it took below 2 lakh as fees total while completing the course.i got egrand scholarship for the 4 years as 10000rs per year.the criteria for the scholarship was 60% above mark in plus 2

I chose this course because the curriculum covers key subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning right from the early semesters. The inclusion of electives such as IoT, Cloud Computing, and NLP made it future-relevant and versatile.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies - [KUFOS], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Food Technology)
Reviewed on May 11, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
