Course Curriculum Overview

I've choosed this course because of im interested to the electronics and communication engineering By completing this course i can achieve my desired job and i can achieve great success we have 3 series examinations and a semester exam per semester

Our collage provides so many intership oppertunities Companies like bis , a2z , zoondia , bosch , toyota etc provides internships at our collage by this students can achieve great experience. This will improve their future

Placement Experience

Our collage provides placement services for every students . students can achieve placement by about 7th and 8th semester there is a placement cell in our collage for placement services there's so many alumini circle and by that there's so many oppertunities

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 45000 per year and there is some extra fees for some programs we have internships offered and we should pay some extra payment for that there are some scholarships like e grantz and nsp

Campus Life

There's this annual tech fest named diksha which is conducted by the collage there'll be so many students from other collages also so that It is an amazing program. In our collage there is arts and sports programs

Admission

I have choosed this collage because of I head about this collage through internet and other medias Some of my friends also referred this collage Also this collage is comparatively near my house when compared to the other collages which I got admission

Faculty

Our collage has so many good faculties and they are very friendly towards the students our faculties like mubeena miss midhun sir swathi Miss noushad sirdhanya miss vidhya miss are very good faculties also there is so many other good faculties

Night Life

There is a lacking in night life in our collage because of the permission issues and students from ladies hostel should get inside the hostel before 6:30 . there is a gym provided in our collage we can access the gym by paying a little amount of fee

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
