Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wanted to pursue Judiciary, and I have heard so many selections from the University of Lucknow in PCSJ, The faculty is great and highly qualified and the syllabus is best, it is helpful in other exams too. Exams happen in every 6months with a total of 10 semesters. The difficulty of the paper is easy to moderate and you can pass easily if you have studied well.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are not given by the college but the faculties and seniors will definitely help you out throughout to get internships in the best places. Also, the college is cooperative in terms of leave and NOC.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 25530 for one semester, which might be affordable for some or expensive for others. Fee hike generally doesn't happen a lot. You can get financial assistance through the University's programmers. There are many initiatives being taken by then. Also, the Uttar Pradesh government also grant scholarship based on individual income.
Campus Life
Life on campus is quite peaceful. We have different committees and thus events happen throughout the year, the annual fest is Sanskriti Surbhi which is very good. We have access to Tagore Library and our Offline Library is also good. Classrooms are well maintained and sports activities happen once a year. There are many student-run groups for cultural and educational purposes.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is amazing. We have a very spacious room and it is for three persons. The meal quality and menu are good but fluctuate with time. Hostel availability depends upon merit, how much rank you get in entrance and the hostel is affordable no doubt. The locality nearby is fine and PG and Flat can be accessed easily.
Admission
The admission process involves an entrance examination, which happens between April and June. During my time, COVID was there so admission was merit-based (on 12th makes), BA.LL.B (Hons.) is a 5 years long course, eligibility is a student must be intermediate pass with at least 45% marks for General and OBC, and 40% for SC/ST.
