Course Curriculum Overview

My course was mechanical. I'd recommend anyone interested in this course to not take one unless you're absolutely passionate. The job market currently favours more IT-affiliated courses so do not go for core mechanical only and learn some IT languages as a must. Depending on your luck, you might get a great faculty or a sticker pain in the ass one who won't grant grades at all. Depending on your course selection the student ratio will vary a lot. For example, mechanical and civil courses have an extremely lower female ratio while biotech courses have an extremely lower male ratio. If you can get in touch with seniors, they can guide you with the proper faculty selection. The difficulty of exams is usually above average while the correction of the paper depends on the faculty.

Internships Opportunities

There are a plethora of opportunities offered. But one must be careful to stay updated on their day-to-day mails to avail or apply for any of these. Doing projects and papers is a must. It'll help a lot in getting jobs or referrals for further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are comparatively fine but as the category number increases, the fees escalate steeply. As it is the cost of living in a hostel is pretty high. A minimum of 5k a month would be required to live a decent life in a college hostel. I didn't get any scholarship. The job I'm currently placed in is a 6lpa placement. But that was also lucky since mechanical recruitment has been at an all-time low

Campus Life

Fests by far are absolutely amazing. Many Famous celebrities have visited us. Library - top class. 3 floored AC with very knowledgeable books with sufficient quantity Amenities - Very good. The whole reason why there are so many PhD students. Sports are extremely competitive and clubs are kind of tiring but worth it in terms of the boost they give you an experience

Hostel Facilities

I'd recommend hostels, because no matter how trash the food is for some days, the life in hostel is something all students must have. Registration is easy for the freshers but as you get to 2nd year, your rank in college decides your chance to opt for a specific room. Being a 9 pointer gives a huge boost in these terms

Admission

There is an entrance exam in which you are ranked based on the marks you achieve. Based on the Rank your right to select a course is given a chance. Application fees, dates forms, etc are all available online along with help centres to make this process easier. Reservation benefits as well as scholarship benefits are also available

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
