My experience

I am a Computer Science and Engineering student. First-year, every student has to learn the basics of every engineering field. From the second year onwards core subjects are taught. In the third year, there is a mini project and in the fourth year, there is a main project and seminar. The faculty members are friendly and helpful. Exams are conducted on time. Engineering courses are generally more difficult than other courses. Besides that the difficulty to pass is low.

The general merit seat fee is 35k, but recently the fee has risen to 41k. Management seat is 75k and the NRI fee range is around 1 lakh. Several scholarships are available in our college under government and private categories. I am receiving a tuition fee waiver scholarship under AICTE.

Our college is located atop a hill. The ambience is pretty good. The library facility is pretty good but the availability of journals and research papers is low. The classroom is generally large and spacious, but some classrooms have structural issues with falling ceiling paint and other issues. There are several clubs like IEEE, IEDC, NSS, CSI, Dance Club and TinkerHub.Details about these are available on the college website

The girls and boys hostel are located below the college. So the hike to the college is a task. And also the food is adjustable but it could be better. Vegetarian and non vegetarian foods are available. Hostel registration can be made directly from the college. Its difficult for girls to get PG rentals in the college locality .

The eligibility for this course is the Keam entrance exam for a merit seat. The application form and other related forms can be found on the college website. There are merit seats, management seats, and NRI seat quotas available. It would be better if the fee transactions were made online instead of ready cash.
