College timings it vary every sem no proper time for engineering
Lack of knowledge about the other two disciplines specific track

Course Curriculum Overview

The knowledge of computer science or information technology will help you understand your job role and achieve your goals better. The student per class are around 70 and each department of the teachers are of 15-20. All the teachers are PhD holders.

Placement Experience

From the 6th sem, all the students are available for the internship and placement process. The top recruiters of Alliance University, Bangalore are Cognizant, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Infosys, KPMG, Oracle, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, American Express, Bosch, Capgemini, Cisco and many others. The highest package was 61lpa in 2023 90% are placed in 2023. My plans after my degree are higher studies or a good job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Applicants also need to note that non-payment of the prescribed fees within due dates will result in cancellation of the course registration for the next subsequent semester/ year. In case of withdrawal from the course, the registration fee will not be refunded by the university under any circumstances. Alliance University offers various merit-based scholarships to its UG & PG deserving candidates. Each candidate can avail of only one scholarship. Scholarships with up to 100% tuition fee waiver are offered to students across all programs.

Campus Life

FUNCTIONAL, where participants proposed solutions with perspectives of liberal arts, law, technology, and business to SDG challenges; CULTURAL, where participants performed on themes centric to the states through dance, drama, music, and fashion; and PHYSICAL, where teams competed in different sports tasks. The competitions were judged by accomplished professionals from academia, industry, and arts All the books are available in the library, it has a huge Library in the college. Many clubs like sports, drama, dance many more.

Admission

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline from a recognized institution. Alliance University accepts national-level entrance exams and conducts AUSAT, Alliance AMAT, and ARAT to select a few of the courses.

Nit surathkal college life

Placement Experience:

Placement in terms of computer science and technology (cs) is very good with highest package of 50 lakhs per annum and avg package of 28Lpa but in other branch the avg package lies between 12-15 lakhs per annum

Value for money with decent faculty, placements a d campus life.

Placement Experience:

At BMSIT, students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester onwards. A good number of companies visit the campus every year, including Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, Cisco, Amazon, and Dell, among others. The highest package in recent years has gone above ?30 LPA, while the average package usually stays around ?6–7 LPA for CSE students. Around 80% of students get placed, mostly in roles like software development, web development, data science, and AI/ML engineering. Personally, after completing my degree, I plan to sit for campus placements and aim for a role in software development. I also want to continue upskilling in advanced areas like full-stack and AI to grow my career further.

LIFE AT NITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at NITK Surathkal are very good overall, and the EEE department consistently sees a high percentage of students getting placed-85% to 90%+ However the placement profiles and salaries vary a lot depending on whether you go core electrical jobs , software/IT jobs we students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester companies start arriving fro pre placement talks and tests ,some students also get PPOs done in the 3rd year summer internshis companies visiting nitk for eee students are: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SIEMENS ABB L&T TATA POWER BOSCH. My personal plans after getting degree is either get placed in a good company then later prepare for civils services examination.

The VTU syllabus was bit difficult to crack, but the course we good , it was a fun studing the syllabus, but the syllabus was not related to the placement, we struggle a lot to get placed in the final year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since my kcet rank was low I want a good clg so I choose this college I choose electrical and electronics. also I'm very interested in electrical department I wanted eee branch so I choose this Curriculum actually helps you to learn and solve real world problems since it's a core branch you have to concentrate on our syllabus. We get to learn lot of things also we have 4 labs there you can learn practically . In our clg they additionally we have lab Called skill lab there you can learn lot of things additionally . I feel they should add some programming language as subject in eee additionally even though we learn that in 1st year there should be continuous so . Even our colleges provide boot camps for 10 days every sem where experienced trainer will come and teach you but I feel that's not enough they have include programming languages as our part of curriculum. In internals they provide 1hour time for for 30 marks and sem exams 3hr for 100 marks so it's manageable .
