Likes

The laboratories have all high - tech equipments.
There is a truck called food truck where you can buy snacks during breaks.
There is football, basketball and cricket.

Dislikes

The distance from the city Bengaluru is 45 kms and 2 hours are gone in travelling.
The hostel fees is too high which makes travelling more affordable.
The network connectivity in the Harohalli Campus is very poor.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the BTech (Computer Science and Engineering ) program because I am interested in programming and mathematics and the faculty at DSU makes it very easy to understand and guide you in every step so that we can do what we want to.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 275000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In the first year of DSU there are very few to none internship opportunities available. But starting from second year the college starts providing or referring companies for internships opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee I am paying is Rs. 275000 after getting admission through DSAT but the fee is increasing by Rs. 25000 every year. If you are planning to opt for the hostel facilities it is Rs.191500 for boys (4 - sharing).

Campus Life

Every year DSU conducts a main fest where many dance competitions and singings take place. Sports activities happen regularly and we have a full-fetched football ground and we have a basketball court and more.

Admission

We have to write an entrance exam called DSAT which we can apply for from the official college website. On clearing the exam you are eligible for admission to the college. During the application process, you are required to choose 3 preferred courses and depending on the seat availability we can get admission.

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

The campus placements are pretty well and this year they are even more better .from 6 th semester onwards students become eligible for the placement and I have also planned to cover multiple cources provided by the college and some outside material also to get the market exposure and make my resume more stronger.The highest package offered by the companies is 48 lpa.The placement percentage ranges from 75 to 85 percent

Placement Experience:

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

I applied for Christ university for pcm course but the reason i didnt go with that is , i was waiting for results from nta neet and kea cet exams . the results came with extreme delay due to covid , but the admission process at Christ university was closed by the time of results and in the kea councelling i got dayananda Sagar university in 2nd round with less fee structure for cse compared to other management quota seat . i got government quota seat due to which i joined this college .
