Likes

Hostel facilities for boys are very good. Though the fees is more, a few say its worth it.
The sports grounds available arw good. We have a basketball court, football ground, etc.
Creation of new clubs and ideas is easy. If the student has any idea, he can contact the dean directly.

Dislikes

The hostel fees is high is what i felt. Though it has good food and facilities, fees is more.
Girls hostel fees is also more. 3 sharing fees is also more.
Location of the campus is very far from bangalore city. So travelling would be a problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose was Bachelor in Technology. The reason I chose that was I had an interest in coding and also due to my family background. Teaching quality mainly depends on the teacher, few of them teach well and others do average. Exams were conducted 3 times in a year, with 2 MSEs and 1 yearly. Difficulty was average.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 275000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees for BTech are 275000 Rs/year. And I think the fees are increasing by about 25000 per year. The scholarships are provided by the government. I am still a 2nd year student so no job applications. The fees may be reduced but more important is the fees of the hostel facility. Hostel fees are too much.

Campus Life

Campus life at DSU is very good. Events keep happening regularly, about 2 times a month or even more sometimes. Many clubs are also available like IEEE, MUN, and many more. Availability of books is good as there is a full-fledged library available. Sports also happen and we have a full-sized football ground, basketball court, etc.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is basically that the student has to have passed the 10th standard. The admission process was not complicated, just some basic info about students and parents plus all the required documents. The application form will be available on the website of DSU.

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

Placement Experience:

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

I applied for Christ university for pcm course but the reason i didnt go with that is , i was waiting for results from nta neet and kea cet exams . the results came with extreme delay due to covid , but the admission process at Christ university was closed by the time of results and in the kea councelling i got dayananda Sagar university in 2nd round with less fee structure for cse compared to other management quota seat . i got government quota seat due to which i joined this college .
