What Students Say

Likes

The campus is reasonably big. It is situated on top of a mountain.
Some of the teachers are really friendly, especially the female staff.

Dislikes

Very few of the faculty have favouritism and they operate on it.
Little to no benefits of being in sports.
No clubs or club activities as such on campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

My class currently consists of 70 people. So the ratio is 70: 1. The teachers are qualified but there's room for improvement. The teaching is adequate and most of the learning is self-learned. The exams depend on the teachers

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 41180 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have an OEC concession, so I don't have to pay any fees. But they are making us pay exam registration fees. The campus placements are not so good with many offering jobs, but non getting any real jobs.

Campus Life

There is nothing mentionable about the infrastructure. The library has some books. Classrooms have projectors. Sports and extracurriculars have virtually no role. There are some clubs but nothing major.

Admission

I took admission through the Kerala University entrance exam known as KEAM. I applied through the official KEAM website. I also have an OEC reservation, which means I can get into colleges easily without paying any fees

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

nehru has implemented placement traninng from the start of the course itself, from first year itself we get to placement classes which made us adapt and get to know how interviews are conducted. from 4th year onwards i think students are eligible for placements and more than 75% of students gets placed every year
