Likes

The Campus infrastructure and the environment.
The social setting and the friendships made along with career.
The projects we were encouraged to do as Viscom students.

Dislikes

Bus fees was Outrageous. As I lived far away I had to go through a tough time travelling and I was not able to afford college bus.
Lack of Cultural events in the college for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was okay and some parts spiked my interest in me. The faculty-to-student ratio was 2:15 (two for 15 students). The faculty had good expertise and we were taught and evaluated on a regular basis. The exams were conducted by the University of Madras and were moderately easy to pass.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no On-campus jobs available yet there are a handful of scholarships based on merit and they can also be availed on the students' request. The fee was around 70,000 rupees per year all inclusive of the Exam fee, study material, and tuition fee.

Campus Life

SRM Arts and Science (University of Madras affiliated) did not host any Cultural fests during my period of study. Sports and Extracurricular activities were not present. But we had access to the playground, and theatre facility on our interest. We did not have access to a recording studio even though there was one. Yet, we had functioning clubs such as Dance, music, and photography initiated by the students.

Admission

There is no entrance exam. First come first served basis of admission. Applications form is best availed in person, visiting the college. Reservation benefits are available. Candidates can check it with the office for more updated information.

My course visual communication its too good for curriculum and very easy to get job for the media And one thing the staff teach the basic level of techinces if the students have the intrested they could learn about the technical terms Teaching improvement they know the value of media so they're teach well in technical terms and shortcuts. Placement Experience:

The placement will be happening for the 3rd year students who have registered already by paying 6000 rs. The topics companies like Accenture, TCS, wipro,etc come for placements. The highest package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum . I am opting for higher studies.

For 3rd year they are eligible for placement. Infosis, Google ect according to our skills. The highest salary package is 24 lakh per annum. 70 percentage of the students is getting placed in a year. My plane after I get degree is to work as a red team in a company.

Aspiring students must possess a minimum of 60% in their 12th board exams. Most courses in the SRM Arts and Science College do not require any entrance exams and your eligibility is based on the availability of seats and a good score in board exams. Best college

This is one of the best colleges in Chennai as well as in India. It got a wider area and lots of programs to show our talent.
