Likes
- The Campus infrastructure and the environment.
- The social setting and the friendships made along with career.
- The projects we were encouraged to do as Viscom students.
Dislikes
- Bus fees was Outrageous. As I lived far away I had to go through a tough time travelling and I was not able to afford college bus.
- Lack of Cultural events in the college for students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum was okay and some parts spiked my interest in me. The faculty-to-student ratio was 2:15 (two for 15 students). The faculty had good expertise and we were taught and evaluated on a regular basis. The exams were conducted by the University of Madras and were moderately easy to pass.

- The atmosphere, the campus life, the diverse group of students that choose SRM to study in.
- The various canteens and wide range of food options available.
- Easy access to hospitals, food chains, railway station and hostels, And the safety of students in the campus.
Dislikes
- Scholarships being offered based on caste instead of being based on merit and family's financial background.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester and a lot of great companies visit the campus every year. Many students get placed every year and the highest package is around 4-5 Lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:
Yes, they do offer Campus interviews. More than 10 companies provide campus placement. To attend campus placement interviews students should not keep any arrears pending. If they have any arrears they are not eligible to attend.

5th-semester completed students can be eligible for campus placement offers.
There are so many companies visiting colleges for more jobs and offers.
50 to 70 percent of students can placed in campus placement.

Placement Experience:
Students need to get 60% as average till the 5th semester to be eligible for campus interviews. Eligible candidates will be placed in more than 30 multi-national companies like IT, the Banking sector, BPO and KPO, etc. More than 321 have been selected on campus in 2021.

COVID messed up our internships and placements. So we really dont know who comes for internships. Better get detailed information from the office before applying for this college. We only got call centre jobs which I applied for one for fun and got selected also. Then I just tore off the call letter because it's not my field of job.

By reaching the end of the 5th semester placement starts. Companies from Wipro, Godrej to bpo companies like Sutherland are also there. Almost 80% of the students got placed.
