Remarks

Negative comments are that the college does nt have good teaching staff and also the social life in the college is not so good. Postive from the college is that every students can enjoy their freedom to the most from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is based on semester pattern and the course is recognised under madras university. The curriculum is good as there will be model exams and class tests held regularly for preparing for the final exmas.

Placement Experience

There are a lot of college placements and oppurtunities provided by the college but no internship is provided. The average stipend for the jobs will be around 10k to 15k and it will be easy to get a job through placements.

College Events

Every tamilian celebrations are being celebrated in the college like ganesh chathurthi, pongal, etc. The college also conducts programmes and events for christmas annual day , college day and freshers day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is very expensive as compared to other colleges in chennai. It will be around 90k per year for a student to complete just one year of graduation and likekise 2.7 lakhs are needed for a basic student to get graduatin in degree from this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholorship or loan was provided from the college and noone of my knowledge has availed any such scholorships or loans as of my knowledge. This college is not a one providing scholorships and loans as it is just a money seeking college.

Campus Life

There are sports and events held in the college but it is mainly provided to the tamilians and other state people have not much role in that. But still when there are interdepartmental fests every students can participate in that.

Hostel Facilities

No , i have not opted for the hostel and hence i dont know much about the hostel facilites provided by the college but from my friends i know that the hostels are okay with two messes and also a playground.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

No there are no news of the alumni network and the senior students who have passed from the college. They should have kept a meeting or conference so that the younger ones can get some information useful from their seniors.

Admission

Just applied there and took admission directly from the college after which i got selected. I was having good marks in 12 th and hence i got the admission immediately and later i went on with the admission process in the university building.

Faculty

2.5

Faculties are not that proficient but still okay in teaching the students as they dont know much about the topic. They are referring on the books for getting the results as they are not thorough of the concepts.

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

From the 5th semester onwards the management made various efforts to conduct oncampus And they made it. Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed. My plan after degree is to place in good reputed company.

Aspiring students must possess a minimum of 60% in their 12th board exams. Most courses in the SRM Arts and Science College do not require any entrance exams and your eligibility is based on the availability of seats and a good score in board exams. The application forms are available on the official SRM University website or you could directly visit the college during admission as a walk-in candidate. This is one of the best colleges in Chennai as well as in India. It got a wider area and lots of programs to show our talent.
