Cleanliness of the university. In campus placements

3 Times exams in one semester, Less holidays

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because there are many opportunities in this course and we also get to learn some new things. The faculty is very nice and well-educated in this university. Students are in a very good ratio. Most all the faculty is P.hd. There are a total of 3 exams in One semester, and they are not very difficult to pass.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

In 3 rd you can get placements. Many famous companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, and Myntra come here for placements. highest package was 40LPA. almost 90% of students get placed in campus placements. I will do my job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little bit high but it is worth studying in this type of great university. Yes, there are many scholarship opportunities for students. If a student is hard working there are an infinite number of opportunities in this university.

Campus Life

Campus life is Amazing and there are many fests in the university like the Diwali fest, Pitara nights, TED talks and many singers, and artists come here often. Books are available 24x7 in the library you can issue them anytime and you need not buy any book from the market. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. There is a huge sportorium for sports where students can play carrom, chess, football, pool, basketball, football etc. There are many clubs which are run by students in which you can participate.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very clean and tidy. Sweepers come daily for cleaning. Food is quite amazing in mess. The registration process is very easy for a hostel but I would suggest everybody take non-Ac rooms. There are many pg's near the university within a radius of 8-10km.

Hostel Fee: INR 170000 per year

Admission

Eligibility For b.tech CSE, you must have an aggregate per cent of marks in PCM. The application form is available on the Chitkara University website and you can also fill this form physically in college. There are some reservation benefits. There is no need for improvement in the admission process because it is already the best admission process I have ever seen.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
