What Students Say

Likes

kind and helpful faculty that is open for any personal doubts too
since the campus has a lot of students so you may find best friends
you csan roam around in the campus around boys hostel till 8pm which gives a cut above other college

Dislikes

the campus is too short or basically small to hang out you are kind of bound there
there is a lot of restriction between boys and girls
unplanned holidays and online semester ruins the college life

faculty are awesome and very friendly specially 2-3 teacher who can be your mentor throughout your college journey, faculty to student ratio is pretty high I mean around 1:140, all doctorate faculty present in campus, exams are conducted in every 1.5 month, and are not too hard

Internships Opportunities

a company came with name indico which is a startup and gave 30k stipend and they recruited by seeing the qualification of the student as the student was SIH finalist so he got a advantage to the next round

Placement Experience

we are available for the campus placements from 6th sem, mainly Microsoft and zomato were the top package givers, highest package was 50 lac, and avg package was 7 lac, 87% was the placement rate of the students, I plan for a MBA degree after the degree from vit bhopal

Fees and Financial Aid

there is just fees hike in hostel it went up by whooping 20k, there was no scholarship or financial aid available and talking about job I am currently in second year but the seniors majorly get off campus internships

Campus Life

the campus is not too big and is mainly under construction which kills the whole vibe and the college life not too boring but you have to manage to spend time with your friends, classrooms have projectors, sports part is completely missing and other is no ground in the campus for football or cricket, clubs are pretty active but they are also bound to some specific type of events

Hostel Facilities

there are 2 options AC or Non AC where non ac is cheaper by around 30 k and rooms have basic amenities not too flashy or anything, room cleaning is done on daily basis, to be honest the hostels are expensive, the hostel is in the campus only

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

Firstly they asked for the 12th grade if above 75% then we are eligible for the entrance exam then there was no reservation or anything, I found the application form in the newspaper, there was no reservation, there should be improvement in the query answer contact number they just don't pickup the call anyhow they just want a email

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

Placement Experience:

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
