Course Curriculum Overview
I am enthusiastic to learn about computer technology, programming, and development. The faculty-to-student ratio is perfectly fine because the faculties are slotted in a way so that they can manage the students effectively. Teaching is done both physically and virtually. Moreover, faculties are moderately qualified and there are some exceptions in faculties whose teaching is very engaging and motivating. The exams went much faster than expected due to COVID-19 but they were easy enough to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available for students from 3rd semester. They can take internship opportunities through linked to outside college. Many projects are given to students every semester to enhance their knowledge.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package was around 12 lakhs and the minimum is 1.5 lakh. The average package is 3.5 lakh most companies give a 3.5 lakh package. I don't accurately know about the percentage of placements but I can be nearly 30-50%. My plan is for off-campus placements or startups.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study is based on the category and percentiles. High percentile students get opportunities for TFWS and basically, for the OBC the fee is nearly 67000. Also, every year you get a scholarship or freeship by college.
Campus Life
Annually, the college has TechnoFest and various events almost every month including workshops. There are plenty number of clubs for different domains that conduct workshops and assistance for students such as robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, C, C++, etc. There is one library in the college with various books which are curriculum based and for general purpose there are very few books available. There is one computer and one projector in every classroom with ethernet availability. The college also has a sports club that makes teams for participating in intercollege competitions and state-level competitions.
Admission
The admission process was successfully completed by me. I took the MH-CET exam and acquired a 92.7 percentile and therefore the admission criteria for Computer Science & Engineering are fulfilled. The application form was available in the admin section and application fees and dates were available on the college website as well as on the notice board. I would like to suggest the improvement of the website to provide more information about the admission process and fee structure.
