Dislikes

Too strict for outings. Differences in rules for girls and boys
Placement. After recession, the Placement situation isn't really good
Rooms are too small for the price we are paying

Course Curriculum Overview

Every faculty has a doctorate in bhopal branch. It is us who gets the opportunity to choose our faculty. This is done through a process called ffcs. Every student gets a slot timing in which they get to choose their faculty for each subjects.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for cse btech is 198000 per year which equals almost 8 lakhs for the entire course. This fees increases with every increasing category. This is the fees for category 1. Plus there is hostel fees. That depends upon the type of rooms we choose.

Campus Life

It is very safe in campus. Girls are not allowed to step oyt of their hostel after 6.30pm. Boys are not allowed after 8pm. No students can step out of the campus without an outing permission. Even for an outing, we need to inform out proctor 48hrs prior, get permission from them, inform parents, get permission from hostel supervisor and then finally we can step out.

Admission

One needs to give viteee exam to get into vit. It has mcqs and no negative marking. After giving this exam, you get a rank according to which get the available courses in available cities. Better the rank, better the corse you will get.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
