Likes

Teachers are very supportive and considerate and helps us in various ways.
If you are not focusing on everyone and then it is quite easy to find good friends.
The overall infrastructure is good and classes are quite amusing.

Dislikes

More facilities should be available for the students.
Many classes are not alloted and rooms are very small.
The menu in the canteen should be changes and better things should be added.

Course Curriculum Overview

*B. A. (Hons) Philosophy is a course that has helps us to understand other's perspective, enhance leadership and research skills and improves critical thinking. Graduates can build their careers in law, health, journalism, and etc. *There are a lot of faculty members in the department of philosophy, though student ration is lower in comparison to other departments. *Exams are held semester wise and there are total of 7 subjects in which four are core subjects and 3 minor.

Class Size: 29Course Fees: INR 12920 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

*Total fees of this course if ?12920 and readings cost around ?500-600 for core subjects. Overall the fees structure is quite affordable and cost is not too much. Other expenses includes files, practicals, printouts, etc.

Campus Life

*Fests are not conducted that often in the campus but other small fests including stalls, etc are conducted time to time. *Library is quite big and many books are available ranging from history, literature, philosophy, political science and many more. *There are fans and bulbs in the classroom and greenboards as well. *There are many sports like kabaddi, cricket, badminton, shootings, etc in the campus and other curriculum activities. *There is NCC in the campus and many societies for music, dance, debates, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I applied to almost all colleges offering the course that i have chosen, i got confirmed admissions in majority of them, however I chose this college because of it's location, unique exposure and the faculty. However, some of the colleges I applied to rejected me too, as this course is highly competitive and very few colleges offer this course, I acknowledge that I am not the best and hence I lost my spot in those colleges. The admission process : - Sit for the cuet exam - Portal opens for admission to all du colleges after one or two months, register there. - Admission happens in three phases through the portal ? registration, making and submission of the preference list (course wise and college wise) and lastly the allotment. Interest in Business and Economics and getting a DU Degree is the only reason to go here in 2025.

There are only 10 colleges offering BBE in Delhi University. So, therefore, the course is high in demand. It is a professional course so the college is still in the process of adapting to a professional setting. I applied for all other colleges offering BBE in DU, and got admitted here via the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). My preference was to go to Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce to pursue this same course, but the cutoff for the same is very high.
