What Students Say

Likes

The faculty is pretty good and know what they are doing.
The sports arrangements are good as there are friendly matched for freshers.
The campus itself is big enough and the shop is also there for us to buy things in emergency.

Dislikes

The football ground is not yet built properly. That is an issue.
The campus itself is good but there are too many restrictions.
The faculty is good but sometimes you get not so good faculties too.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course cause I wanted to go for it. Faculty to student ratio is good a teacher has at least 60 and at max 80 students. The faculty is qualified according to the branding. They all are Ph.D. faculty. Their teaching methods are also good, you will have almost no issues with their teaching styles. The term exams are fine and good. They are not that easy and not that difficult too.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 201000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

The campus placements are good. 90% at least get placed from the college itself and the rest 10% include people who themselves don't want placements. The college has a placement cell and dies interviews before letting the students flirt with actual interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees depend on what your rank in VITEEE is. If the rank is good, then it is likely to be low but if it is bad then it can get a bit high. All the financial help is available and the job placement is also good.

Campus Life

The campus life is a bit of an issue cause as a hosteler we are restricted too much and the food is also not that great. The girls have even more restrictions on them. The clubs are good but they are not that active. Sports are also there but as the campus is still under construction, it will take dinner time to do tournaments.

Hostel Facilities

My rented accommodation is pretty good. It's on the campus itself. The facilities are good. Proper hygiene facilities and no water shortages. It's all good. There are guards 24/7 to keep a look on to if something wrong is happening or not.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

The examination process was smooth. I took the examination and was able to get admission in the first category(lowest fees). The cut-off is different for VIT Vellore Chennai Bhopal and Amravati. It depends on the rank in which campus you will get the placement.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
