Likes

Management and their understanding with students
The placements are astonishingly better than expected.
All faculties are confident about placements in 1st class onwards only.

Dislikes

There are frequent power cuts in the hostel.
Due to the construction work there are disturbance sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview

As we all know VIT is famous for its strict curriculum and safety rules. They never compromise on the circular and are also the only colleges to provide FFCS(Fully flexible Credit system). After this, it depends on you when and which faculty you opt for.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 99000 per year

Placement Experience

For my course, the placements start in the 5th (last year of semester). And lot of companies visit the campus and there are very good opportunities but you have to study to get placed. The placements percentage is 90%. the average package offered this year is 8.5 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 52 lakhs this year. I currently don't have any plans after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

As we know VIT is a private institution but also they provide very good scholarships every state board topper gets a full fee waiver and the top 500 students in their VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Exam) get a 50% fee waiver. The office people are very good and helpful for refunds and other all works

Campus Life

Here is where VIT Bhopal University lags. As we know this is a very new institution. There is construction work going on everywhere at a very very fast pace. Social life is good but there are a lot of restrictions for girls and most of them are obvious for safety.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms for freshers are ok and there are two different types of hostel premium and normal. But actually they are expensive related to other things. The non veg food is good but veg food sucks .but in contrast the dal and rice served is good .

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

My admission was based on class 12th board results. I applied for 600 and got shortlisted for the integrated Mtech program and got VIT Bhopal University for fee category 1 which I think can give a very good ROI.

Decent college for engineering

Remarks:

If you want to join the college for degree only and want to enjoy some time in the college activity then go for this college. As they will not provide any placement from the college and only CSE students will get the placement.
