The year wise total fees paid is 300000 approx for entire year. This includes tuition fees of 120000, hostel fees of 150000 and rest is admission fees of 30000 approx containing caution fees in it. My batchmates also have the same fees structure.

The yearly fees that I am paying is 200100 INR and caution fees is 15000 INR which is refundable in depending on the national university norms. There is no reservations so fees are paid depending on the fee category you have, fee category is based on your merit in VITEEE entrance exam of the institute. Some of my friends have 350000 INR (Category-2) and some have 500000 INR (Category 3 or 4). To opt for scholarships, there is some eligibility criteria for example one of the criteria is that the annual income of the family should be less than 200000 INR.

The fees is very minimal compared to other institutions. It is only 97000 per year.There is no such fee hike problem. They provide scholarships to the board toppers and also to the top 500 rankers of there VITEEE exam . They also provide stipends to GATE Qualified Students that is 12000 per month.

As we know VIT is a private institution but also they provide very good scholarships every state board topper gets a full fee waiver and the top 500 students in their VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Exam) get a 50% fee waiver. The office people are very good and helpful for refunds and other all works
