NIT Agartala Campus life is characterised by a diverse student ,green campus,best air quality, awesome Sport complex, and acadmic environment. students at NIT Agartala have ample opportunities for social interaction .the institute organizes cultural fest ,technical events and sport competition . NIT Agartala boasts a variety of club like coding,electronic,design,singing and dancing,music, debate,poetry,literature. College CLassroom is good like school class and lab are also good and decent ,department of specified branch is also good thier building are looking good from outside and inside but some buildings are not good .

Hostel Facilities

After you get admission in this NIT firstly you got RNT hostel in First year for boys an girls alloted GARGI hostel ,and the RNT hostel is good and decent ,facility is also good like water cooler ,common room ,geyser for winter.And later in second year you are shifted in Aryabhatta hostel which is old , but after in third year again you shifted in RNT hostel with private room.

Admission

To get admission to the National Institute of Technology in INDIA, Candidate typically need to appear for the joint entrance exam (JEE) Main . JEE MAIN is conducted by the National testing agency (NTA) for aadmission to various undergraduate engineering programs,include those offered by NITs. And the admission process is conducted by JOSAA{Joint seat allocation Authority}and then few seat are left then these seat are filled by CSAB And the cutoff is varied year by year of every college and every branch

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Campus placement is good for those who study ..ans from third year we are eligible..some of our senior also got PPO ..as cgpa also matters ..but not for every .. companies visited here is microsoft ,paypal ,uber, jp morgon and many more

Life in Nit Agartala

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Students become eligible for placements after coming in 7th semester which is the start of 4th year. Multiple companies from both tech and core field visit the campus. Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
