CMRIT student review

I chose ISE, because all the faculty members are very supportive and friendly. They are all highly qualified. They just don't teach what's there in the book but also teach about their applications. The exams are conducted regularly and they prepare us for the exams beforehand.

Companies like Google, Infosys, Amazon, and many more provide internship opportunities. College asks the students to do mini projects from 1st year to increase the chances of placement. Also, students are awarded certificates for best projects.

Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year. Companies that visit the campus are Google, Amazon, TCS, Oracle, and many other companies. The eligibility for placement is the students should have a CGPA above 8. 95% of students get placed in the companies. They also have TYL where they train students from 1st year for interviews, placement, and internships. My plans are to get placement through a campus interview. If not I will do M.E after that.

I got the seat through KCET, so the fee structure was as per the KEA regulations. There are scholarships available. About the financial assistance, I am not sure. The college motivates the students to do projects from the first year.

Well-maintained infrastructure and labs. A good campus and hostel facility is available. A lot of greenery is present. They have a cafeteria, canteen, cricket ground and basketball courts. They conduct intercollegiate once a year called Cultura. And also a sports fest called spardha. Inter-department competitions are also held. They also conduct hackathons. We have got a library which is accessible at any time. We have a digital library which we can access from anywhere. They have so many clubs technical and nontechnical clubs. Not just studies, they also encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities.

The admission process was smooth and easy. The course eligibility is for all the students who have completed 12th. The entrance exams through which you can join are through KCET and COMEDK. Application forms and fee details can be found on the college website. The cutoff for ISE was 19000. So you have to submit all the documents during the admission process.
