I chose cse as my branch because I have interest in coding here almost all faculty members are phd holder and well qualified for their profession.In our college sufficient numbers of professors are appointed.Here two main exams happens one is midterms and another one is endterms which itself represents their meanings.

Class Size: 11Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total 4 years btech for 2022 batch will cost upto 17lakhs including all hostel rent and mess.for the 2023 batch the fees are gone uoto 20 lakhs and increasing year by year.Here no scholarships are given on the basis of category but yes there are some scholarships for the merit students in jee mains.Also GP birla scholarship provided on the basis of cgpa in each semester.

Campus Life

The cultural fest BITOTSAV is celebrated in the month of february and the technical one is pantheon which happens in october month. Libraries have enough number of books of various sectors.every classroom is air conditioned ,also have projectors ,etc.We have big sports complex for all the sports activities.many clubs are run by students like finance club,IEEE ,etc.

Admission

I gave jee mains as the entrance examination for engineering.I got 97.3%ile in mains and got BIT mesra cse in CSAB round 1.Admission process is simple we have to lock the choice in josaa or csab.Then visit the college which we have locked and complete the remaining formalities,pay the fees and then do their course registration And done

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
