Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing a Bachelor of Technology from IIIT Ranchi in Computer Science Engineering Branch. The course curriculum is about technology developed by computer science. The faculty are well trained and well educated.

Class Size: 256Course Fees: INR 290000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of my college (Indian Institute of Information Technology) is Rs.115500 for my semester. Hostel fees are 15000 (Fifteen Thousand only) and mess fees are 18000 (Eighteen Thousand only ).

Campus Life

Life at the campus is a decent one: sometimes exciting while sometimes boring. There are clubs related to technical, cultural, and many more. There are a decent number of infrastructure in our college.

Admission

I took the JEE Examination. I got a decent percentile and got admission to IIIT Ranchi through the CSAB Counselling process. Even I belong to the OBC category. No, I don't want any improvement in the admission process of the college.

Placement of this college are very good. From 7th semester students are eligible for on campus placement. And also from 6th semester students are eligible for internship opportunities. Top mncs like Google, microsoft, amazon, nvidia etc. visited the college for placement

AFFORDABLE EDUCATION WITH SCOPE FOR GROWTH

Placement Experience:

after 7 th semester we are eligible for placement a very companies come here to visit cause earlier some of companies comes here but they don't get quality student so they just stop to coming here however for palcement top candidates are selected and sent to tecno india kolkata as this college is managed by tecno india group where after interview they got placement so if you have good knowledge and coding skills may be you got a interview call some companies like acceture and wipro comes here the ece branch and cse branch got some placements. i don't know the exact numbers but in last year around 25 offers was made among which the most paying was 9 lacs per annum secured by a senior name harsh dwivedi from cse branch here's the profile linkedin. com/in/harsh-dwive di-208b00228/. most of the students from opt for higher studies or psus through GATE and my objective is also same opting for M.TECH.

In my college, placement is not too good as i here from my seniors that in campus placement offers on average 3 to 4 lakh per year and the highest 6-7 lakh. And highest off campus placement that student get offer is 9 lakh per year

The college is almost good for a low budget and also good for middle class student with tier three college

Choose Future, not Present

I had several other options like NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur, BITS Pilani etc... Now in all the tier 2 nits i would have got either metallurgy or civil at the best but in BITS Pilani i could've got ENI but the fees there was 33 lkh for all the 4 years so it was not affordable for me. This was the best option keeping in mind my rank, roi and fees. You can get here by applying for jossa or csab after you have given jee mainsa and you will get a seat if you get good rank....Read More
