The college is one of the most reputed in the country because of good resources and excellent faculty. The college management appears to be efficient in solvong various problems as and when they come up.

AIPGMEE and chose opthalmology because of interest in the subject. Admission process was smooth, though time consuming.

Post graduate degrees don't include internship. Medical colleges usually don't provide with on-site campus placements. After completing the course, the student must appear invarious exams of different hospitals for senior residency in govt or private sector.

There are no on-site campus placements in medical degrees. The placement work comes after completing the course and applying for jobs in various hospitals.

College has 2 festivals every year. They usually have a cultural aspect and the literary aspect. They include competitions in various extracurricular activities like choreography, dramatics, debates and quizes.

Being a govt college, the fee is very nominal. College fee is about ?10,000 for the entire year. This includes tuition fees etc. Fee is paid at the beginning of the year.

No scholarship is offered by the college. Fee is slightly relaxed for certain weaker sections of the society. Loan facility is not available.

Campus life is good. Good facilities are there in the hostel campus for sports. Cultural activites are good and become visible during festival seasons. The college elects its own Student Union through voting. The student union is involved in representing students in various college and administrative matters.

The college has a very strong alumni network both in India and abroad. The alumni are well connected through social networking sites. Seniors are usually helpful.

Exams are held at the end of the three year course. It includes a theory exam and a rigorous practical examination.

The faculty is the one of the best in the country. Most of the faculty have done MS from premiere institutes and also have foreign recognition. They have a lot of publications to their names and enjoy good repute in the Ophthalmology community.
