IIT JEE , Actually i set my aim in 10th standard to become an master in mechnical engineering So, i gaved the exam of IIT which i passed by flying colour. Thus , this thing encourges me to do engineering. Admission process is quite good regarding seats quota and all that. One can apply in collage by clearing the IIT and JEE exam. It was an quite great interview. I scored 311 in JEE MAINS.

The placements at IIT are pretty different from the thousands of engineering colleges in the country. You need to maintain a good CGPA (academic score roughly around 7 on 10), to get short listed by the great MNCs that visit the college every year. Microsoft, Google, Facebook, YES Bank, Nomura, Facebook and hundred more companies recruit students from the IIT Kharagpur campus. There are no mass placements, hence the salary students are offered is roughly around 7-9 lakhs per annum. International offers reach upto 50-75 lakhs per annum depending upon the company and your performance. Students get on campus internship offers from excellent companies during their third year of engineering. They get paid around 35,000 per month (varies with the company). And yes, needless to mention, 100% placements. At IIT Delhi, there is compulsory internship to be done by student at the end of third year for B. Tech and Dual degree student and at the end of 4th year for Integrated M. Sc. students. Career Developlent center acts as communication link between companies and institute. Approximately 90 companies come for internships which may or may not be department specific and approx 250 students get internship from Campus.I was offered 12000 INR per month.

IIT Delhi was established with an aim to produce world class engineers who would establish themselves in the higher echelons of any field they venture into. It began with offering B.Tech in three mainstream engineering disciplines, namely, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, with its first year of operation at IIT Delhi. Currently operational at the transit campus in Rupnagar (Punjab), the institute excels in myriad fields of study at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The pioneering batch of the institute graduates in July 2012 and it is a matter of great pleasure for the institute to take this opportunity to invite potential companies to experience and evaluate the dexterities, competency, skills and talent of our students and absorb them into their esteemed organizations. Many companies came to the campus for offering the placement.35 students out of 70 students get the stipend : Rs 8000/month.

We can say that fee structure was both feasible or expensive. Because the fee was quite in budget whereas on the other hand it was quite high in the price. I am from middle class family , hence , fee is quite expensive for us but due to my discounts and scholarship it got much reduced.

I doesn't taken the loan from the collage. But yes , i was offered scholarship which was quite helpful. I would like to say a few words regarding loan scholarship corpus that is "If the donated amount is less than Rs.2, 30,000 (or USD 5,000, as the case may be), then all such amounts will be pooled together in the form of a corpus. From this corpus, loan scholarships are open to all students. Priority will not be assigned to any specific category of students. Students in 4-year B.Tech and 5 year dual degree or integrated programmes, and M.Sc. programmes are equally eligible in other words; the only determining factor shall be "need

Gender ratio was fine. In our class , there was 24 boys and 19 girls. My opinion on campus life is that is was awesome. There were many extra curricular labs , sports, competitions. We organised competitions like singing , dancing , debates , running , speeches , writing competitions etc.Economic status was too good . There was no lack of money in either in any way. So it was all that regarding collage, lets just move to the topic of politics , yes our collage was quite influenced by politics. You know , delhi is always chasing between political leaders. And yes , it meets my standards.

Actually , I never lived in PG's . But , this time i have to live and it was quite good experience. We got PG near the collage campus. Lets give credit where it's due , Hostel is actually the base for thousands of children to study and bright their future

Senior Students had a blast at the hotel where they used the facilities of the hotel , pool and beach for around 5 hrs. The hotel separated an area at the boardwalk with beverages and appetizers for 80 students. The place was beautiful, very clean and safe for the adults and students. And you know all about ragging , whole the collage was quite influenced by ragging of senior students over juniors. It was quite rude.
