I like the architecture of the building as it always encourages me to go to attend the college even in the peak summers.
The societies of the college provide better environment to mingle and make new friends.
The crowd of the college is also one of the best crowds of Delhi. You can make some great friends for life here.

Dislikes

Placement oppurtunities which are yet to be discovered
The college hours, as some times the last class might end at 5 pm.
The pressure of the assignments and the work some days could reach the peak

Course Curriculum Overview

The course felt more tempting to me as it included the study of machine learning along with artificial intelligence. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:10. The qualifications of the faculty members were accurate as it was on the website. And the teaching method is also great.

Internships Opportunities

The G20 program was held for students to make projects and showcase their skills to the college and compete with other students. Always encourages and updates its students about the ongoing hackathon events. Always ask the students for research internships.

Placement Experience

Currently (2023) in BTech there are 3 batches till 3rd year. There are no final-year students in the college who are going for a college placement. Our college though provides amazing training and internship opportunities for those who are willing to take a step forward. The college is continuously working on building networks with different companies so that they can provide their students with better opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee of the BTech program is 144000 rs. in VIPS. This is the highest fee of all the bachelor's degree programs in the college. The college also provides a part payment facility for students who wish to pay fees in installments. The installments are- a 50% fee at the start of the year and the rest 50% must be paid before the end sems of the first semester of that year.

Campus Life

The clubs and the infrastructure of the college are next to amazing. Coming to VIPS, you get a centralized air-conditioned building for those extreme summer heat. The building has good architecture and a next to an amazing library.

Admission

After I received my JEE scores, I started to visit various institutes to get to know more about it. I was also looking up to various colleges outside Delhi to which I can apply at with my JEE scores. On googling about it, there was very little information about the colleges outside Delhi. If I had been able to find the details about the colleges all over India, it could've benefitted me the most.

Placement Experience:

Students are available to get placed starting sem 7, the placements of my college are great, it's fairly easy to get placed, most students get placed by the end of sem 8, Companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to our college, the highest placed student this year was 80 lakhs, all the companies mentioned above took atleast 4-10, students. Around 80% students are placed for sure, My plans after getting the degree is to become a content creator whole doing my job, trying to balance everything, also i have plans to start my own business

Placement Experience:

Placement offers are not that good, like if you're pursuing other courses than btech so the placement is good but in btech, tech companies don't come that often, so you have to develop your skills during your academics and apply offline for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.

Life and learning at ADGIPS

Course Curriculum Overview:

industry relevent topics like ai , python , oops, numpy ,pandas, sql , etc with balance with theory and also with maths good for job readliness in tech role because of sql , pandas and machine learnig like laguages in collage teachers are still using old studioes for programming they are not switching to vs studio and jupyter notebook like studios papers are moderate but they are too frequent like 2 mid tearm with externam practical and then end term and center of exams some time placed at very far place which is not good

DTU- a glimpse

Placement Experience:

The campus placements starts from the beginning of the 7th semester. The stats of the top-branches is quite good, more the 80 percent students who applied for the placements get offers. The major tech-companies like Google, Microsoft ,Amazon, Uber,SalesForces,Meesho etc visits for the campus placement. The highest package offered till now is 1.84CR by the amazon ireland, the avg package of the tech branches lies between 18-20lpa. overall 75-85 students get placed.

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
