MIT ADT School of Computing Review

I was interested in coding and seeing the scope of this field I chose this domain. In our class there are 66 students. So for theory lectures, we all sit together in the same class. The classes are very spacious. For practicals, all the students are divided into three groups that is A, B, and C, and different groups have different practicals so there is no havoc between students. The Student-teacher ratio is maintained. The teachers are nice, help us with studying and are cooperative. They use PPTs for lectures and sometimes whiteboards. Also, we are provided with Multidisciplinary subjects such as guitar, folk music, folk dance, drama, event management, etc. so we can explore different domains. Term examinations are held every 1 and a half months. For practicals, we have jury assessment.

I haven't done any internship since I am in 1st year and currently developing my skills. The coding clubs in the college provide us with opportunities and give us certificates from reputed companies which can be used in placements.

College placements according to seniors and college are good provided that the student is working hard for it and has managed a good CGPA. The highest package for 2023 was 58.4LPA and the average package was 7LPA. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, Capgemini, whirlpool, and a lot more companies visit the campus. I am planning to get placed with a high package from the campus placements only.

The fee structure is a little bit high. For example, I am paying 2.67 lakhs for a year i.e. 2 semesters. But there are scholarships available for those students who have performed well in jee mains (80 percentile or above) and 12th board examinations. The college promises us great campus placements so we are looking forward to being placed in good tech companies. To get a good placement we should maintain a CGPA of around 8 and above. 2023 highest placement was around 58LPA.

The college PERSONA fest is quite big and fun. It allows students to explore different fields rather than studies and remove their stage fear. There are many tech and cultural clubs in the college for example GDSC(Google Developer Students Club), SCC(Swift Coding Club), and many more, Dance Club etc. The college Library is huge and has all kinds of books related to engineering, management, and English. Some monthly journals, college magazines, and everything is provided. There is a study hall beside the library where students can study.

Students should have passed 10+2 with any recognised board(CBSE, icse, or state boards). Open-category students must have 50 percent or above and have subjects such as PCM and English. Students should have qualified for at least one engineering exam like MHT CET or Jee Mains. The minimum required percentile in jee mains is 60.
