I chose this course cause I wanted to. The faculty is very good and qualified. Exams are regular and they are average in terms of difficulty. Faculty to student ratio is also okay around 1 per 60 students. The faculty is good

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements starting from the 4th sem. Many companies like tcs come to the institute. The highest package was around 500k pa I guess. I have no idea about the percentage of students getting placed. My plans after getting the degree are to do MBA from iim or Aborad

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple. First 60000 Inr is to be given during the counselling to confirm the opting choice( float/freeze). The rest of the fees i.e. 70150 is to be given during the reporting at the college. Total fees pa. 130150.

Campus Life

The campus is okay. Classrooms are okay too. but the bca building is quite old so No air conditioning, unlike VIPS. Whiteboard and projectors in every classroom. High-end computers in the computer lab. The canteen is okayish. Study culture is up to the mark. There are many societies too but I dont think so are worth joining (most of them)

Admission

Eligibility is minimum marks in English maths(if taken in 12). Gave Ip cet exam for bca which can be applied for on the official IPU website. Reservation is available. Cutoff went for around 500 rank in CET for bca shift 2. The admission process was smooth.

A decent college experience with room for improvment

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and covers most of the imortant subjects needed for our feild.It provides a good foundation and helps in understanding the basics clearly. many topics are for real world application can also help in further studies.However the curriculum could be improved by adding more practical sessions real projects and updated industry oriented content. Some subjects feel a bit theoritical so more hands on learning would make cource stronger. The exam schedule is manageable with internal external and internal assessments held at regular intervals. The difficulty level of exam is modrate and we students can perform well with study.Overall curriculam is decent but can become more comprehensive with few updates.

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

I applied for Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's known as the SRCC of GGSIPU and it has the highest placement packages in comparison to any other Colleges of GGSIPU and it is ranked the top college of GGSIPU so I opted for admission here and no I didn't get rejected from any universities I got admitted to the one I wanted it's just that you require alot of patience and need to be active about the admission forms being out and all. To get admission in the BBA program at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, a student must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, with English as one of the core, elective, or functional subjects. Admission is primarily conducted through the IPU CET exam held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, students can also be admitted through CUET if their name appears in the merit list and their rank is below 500. Based on the CET or CUET rank, candidates are called for counseling where seats are allotted.
