Likes

College program such as dharohar, DJ night, garbha night.
Religious event such as diwali , holi etc.
Cafeteria enjoy is most common listening music with delicious food of cafe is mind blowing.

Dislikes

College size is not so huge it is small.
Parking area is not available you have to park in front of dhaba for which you have to pay.
In Library most of the books are not available.

Civil engineering is a professional course which is mother engineering we have lots of opportunities after completion of this course. Faculty members are friendly and helpful to students. Teachers are highly qualified and well-experienced.

Internships Opportunities

For civil engineering, they take us on various visits like CBRI Roorkee, and bridge construction, and they also conduct a survey camp for 3rd-year students in Mussorie for 5 days but for this survey camp, we have to pay.

Placement Experience

Placement is on average for civil engineering almost 1 company comes only but you have opportunities to sit in other course placements of your choice you can also go for study after completion of your graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

For Btech average fee is about 120000. Placement for civil engineers is on average neither good nor bad. They conduct their own scholarship exam i.e. Qcare at the time of admission and also give scholarships on JEE score card.

Campus Life

Campus life is very interesting and enjoyable there are many locations near the college just like Mussorie Dehradun about 50km and 70km. Volleyball, basketball, etc are played daily in the evening, there are various clubs also such as music club, dance club.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good but messy food is on average neither good nor bad. The menu is set in a mess. The hostel registration process is easy in the account section they will help you hostel easily. Rooms are well furnished with two chairs two tables two beds.

Admission

The admission process is easy and well-planned. 50% minimum required in 10+2. Enjoyment is full of study. Teachers are much more cooperative and friendly with students. Labs are well set for Btech students. Industrial visits are conducted from time to time.

Interview Experience

No group discussion was taken. Just contact to college employee or any agent he or she will help you to take admission to this college. One exam taken by University is Qcare which is the entrance cum scholarship exam.

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

In the end going through with the fee structure the college is good
