I disliked the college infrastructure as only certain classes and labs had air conditioner
I disliked the sports activities as less chances and opportunity were present there

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the BCA course over B. Com because it is a professional course and related to software and technical lines. BCa course has a very great curriculum covering all the aspects of programming and programming languages, covering Maths, Fundamentals of IT and all basics of Web technologies too. In the first semester, the course also offers a very helpful subject which is Technical communications(also called business communication ) All the faculty members are highly skilled and qualified. They are very good at their teaching part and students can connect with them in a better way too The student ratio is also satisfactory. The mid-term exams were held when 2 units of the syllabus were completed and the end-semester exam was when all units were completed

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 1.3 L for a year. It includes the tution fees and the university fees. It is also satisfactory but the fees are high and do not match the college infrastructure. However, the college provides scholarships for ews and other students who have a problem with affordability. The college also has placement options and very well-known companies as their hirers.

Campus Life

The college has a very excellent social life. Student societies that run here are very excellent places to socialize and get exposure. They also have events and competitions organised by them. Maharaja Surajmal Institute has 22 well know societies which are run by the students, these societies also have a faculty in charge. The infrastructure and classrooms are satisfactory. Classrooms are big enough to accommodate the batches and also have white boards and a projector There are also many co-curricular and sports activities present here, debating societies, dance societies, drama, singing etc. Football, basketball, volleyball, and cricket are also present. The college has a very well-developed system of a library and a book bank. They are present with almost every book you demand.

Admission

The admission was from the IPU CET entrance exam. It had 100 questions and was arranged in a very good manner. After the exam and results, there were 3 rounds of counselling and a spot round. It was also a very smooth process. Application forms and dates were constantly uploaded on the GGSIPU website. All the updates regarding CET were also given through the GGSIPU Website. GGSIPU made the whole process look very smooth and easy.

A decent college experience with room for improvment

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and covers most of the imortant subjects needed for our feild.It provides a good foundation and helps in understanding the basics clearly. many topics are for real world application can also help in further studies.However the curriculum could be improved by adding more practical sessions real projects and updated industry oriented content. Some subjects feel a bit theoritical so more hands on learning would make cource stronger. The exam schedule is manageable with internal external and internal assessments held at regular intervals. The difficulty level of exam is modrate and we students can perform well with study.Overall curriculam is decent but can become more comprehensive with few updates.

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

I applied for Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's known as the SRCC of GGSIPU and it has the highest placement packages in comparison to any other Colleges of GGSIPU and it is ranked the top college of GGSIPU so I opted for admission here and no I didn't get rejected from any universities I got admitted to the one I wanted it's just that you require alot of patience and need to be active about the admission forms being out and all. To get admission in the BBA program at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, a student must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, with English as one of the core, elective, or functional subjects. Admission is primarily conducted through the IPU CET exam held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, students can also be admitted through CUET if their name appears in the merit list and their rank is below 500. Based on the CET or CUET rank, candidates are called for counseling where seats are allotted.
