Likes

campus infrastructure as it construction has not complete yet but the main building is very beautiful and eye catching
there are numerous clubs which includes both technical and non technical clubs
the seniors and faculties are very helpful in every manner

Dislikes

the Id card management is very slow and take too much time to provide Id card
attendance system is very strict you need to go through long procedure for leave

In my course, there is a vast variety of job opportunities that's why I chose btech in case. the faculty-student ratio is 1:70 All the faculties are doctorate and used to teach from their PPT in class which is very helpful. midterms and end-term examinations are conducted with 2-month gaps.

as I am first-year student so I didn't get much about the internship but as far I know 3-year students apply for many internships. and it is totally on your skills and cgpa which you will score in your 4-year course

from 3 years we get internships if we want to appear in job interviews there are 3 categories super dream, dream, regular if we score 9 cgpa every semester we will be eligible for super dream offer companies and if get 8.5 we will be eligible for dream offers and rest can apply in regular offers.90% of student gets placement and the highest package is 56 lakhs and the average package is 8 lakhs

as I am fresher I didn't get any job on campus but there are many opportunities in internships. the fee structure is quite complicated if we take admission in 1 cat then we have to pay 19800 per year there are 5 categories and in every category, there is an increase in fees and the

Campus Life

as I am fresher and joined the college in September month so there is no such fest has been conducted yet but in future, there will be two major 2 fests. and in our college, there are many technical and non-technical clubs. campus life is very interesting as you will get opportunities to participate in many co-circular activities including sports events and cultural events. the classroom is very well managed with new furniture and there are different studios for different activities. and in the library majority of books are available

Admission

we have to appear in viteee examination after the merit list disclosure we get the chance to apply for college councelling on a rank basis you will get the seat according to the course list you have selected in the councelling process.

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
