I liked here is all about is some goods friends.
Labs are very good here but you cannot acsess anytime.

I am not liked faculties and teaching methods due to the language issue.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I like engineering things like solving real-life problems I find alternate solutions if not working properly we can say that makeshifter. The faculty-student ratio is fine you can say that if the student is 100 then the teacher is 10. Qualification of all faculties are p.hd or above teaching method have to change few things . have communication is a very big problem due to language. Exams are always on time and not very difficult to pass if you start studying 1 week before you can easily pass.

Internships Opportunities

Very few Companies came to the campus for internships but Reliance, Jio are others came to campus role underrnship is full stack developer. I have not done any project till now but I am working on it and around 1 month I am done with 1 project.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible from the 7th semester for campus placement. Jio, Amazon, Tata, Wipro, Webel, and many more companies are visited here and good numbers of offers made. The highest placement is 26 lakhs and the average placement is 13 lakhs. 90 percent of the students got placed on campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very high in these colleges like 1lakhs per semester and 50000 for hostel fees and no good facilities are provided. There is no scholarship from our college but if any government scholarship then it is valid.

Campus Life

There are two annual festivals that have happened in my college to date. one is GET TOGETHER and the other is ANUKRITI. It happens in the month of March and September. There are very less books and journals available in the library. Amenities in classrooms are very good almost everything is available in the classroom. Sports & extracurricular activities on the campus are not good because our college has no permanent campus. paper vol website is for previous year papers run by students.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is you have to clear the JEE mains Entrance Exam with a minimum 96 percentile. I found the application form on the NTSC website which is the official website and application fee is around 1000 and the application dates are around 1 month. Reservation Benefits are from the caste category for OBC, SC, and ST. The admission process is very complex and lengthy make is simple because many students are eligible but do not get admission due to some mistake in the admission process.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.

Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Don't join if you don't care about the iiit tag cause we have poor college life

I got Indian institute of information technology bhagalpur ece branch it's a good college as it has it's own permanent campus while we don't have that so that's why it is preferable in that way but our location is better with other facilities. Journey to start and Journey till the end

During Josaa counseling i applied to many top notch colleges and in the first round result was declared i got MMMUT gorakhpur ECE IOT and i was pretty excited to study IOT but as time passed by i noticed that this yeae the cutoff for ECE IOT in MMMUT went to low as to 2.5lac me being a 80K ranker with students of 2.5lac is not good as later i came to know that the class is what will be deciding which company will come to your college and how much will they offer for campus placement and moreover i found that its course cirriculum is also pretty much out dated and for something like ECE IOT that is such a new field i dodnt find it soothing. i didnt get rejected form the collegs i was expectingt to one of them was IET lucknow i should have took it if the AKTU consulling was not that late as it happened Admission process in our college is simple once you got selected through josaa or csab make you PAF 2 payment and confirm your seat then make the rest of 1st sem payement of instiution and...Read More

For the getting into IIIT Kalyani, one need to clear the JEE Nains examination and need to have around 50 thousands rank. One major flaw is that there is no female reservations seats.
