- The teaching faculty is really nice and helpful and apart from that they are highly qualified.
- The fests are organised very frequently so somehow it make the college life more exciting and fun.
- The frequently organised hackathons and competitions is a plus point and it helps us grow.
Dislikes
- The strict attendance policy . The attendance is to be maintained on monthly basis and the attendance should be minimum 60%
- The lack of amenities is a big issue . There's only a single auditorium which gets full on events and many students don't get a chance to attend it.
- The cultural fest is organised only once in a year and the fest is organised on a low budget which needs to be changed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I really have a deep interest in the electrical and electronics branch that's why I opted for this branch. The faculty: student ratio is 1:60 and the faculty is well educated and qualified with teaching experience of more than 10+ years. The teaching methods are old-school but effective. The exams are very regular after every 7-8 weeks we have exams and the difficulty level is moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very moderate and there is a very small hike in the fees the whole course will cost you around 6 lakhs. There are many Scholarships to avail such as scholarships for EWS candidates, Merit cum means scholarships, and many more. The minimum package is 2lpa and the highest package is 12lpa for this branch in on-campus hiring.
Campus Life
There are two fests the cultural fest which is Avensis and the tech fest which is Enva which are organised during April apart from this college life is really chill. The library is occupied with a lot of books and the staff is very helpful too. The college consists of a football ground, badminton court, auditorium, and canteen. The college is quite small but the college life is really nice. There are a number of societies to join such as Prakriti, Aarambh, E-CELL, IEEE, and many more.
Admission
For admission under the btech branch one needs to take the Jee Mains entrance exam and secure a rank under 50k for admission in the CSE branch and just to join the joining you'll have to score a rank under 150k. All the details regarding application and admission are provided on the Main GGSIPU website. The admission process must be a little fast.
