Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS course makes you a qualified allopathic doctor and becoming a doctor was my passion so chose this course. There are adequate faculty available in the college. All the facilities are either MD/ MS in qualifications. They are highly experienced. All the term and internal exams takes place on time and in strict manner.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 420000 per year

Internships Opportunities

1.5

One year compulsory internship to be done after final year in the hospital attached to the college. The hands on experience in the internship is absent. Some part of posting is at PHC and some at UHC assigned. But no stipend paid during internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees varies from category to category .It is decided by the state government and hikes my some amount every year . Scholarships are provided by the government based on category only if family income is under 8 lakes per annum.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest held every year. The books and journals of all subjects are available in the library but latest edition books are not available. Classroom have fans and tubelights with smart boards . Sports and extra curriculum is absent. There are no clubs or social groups.

Admission

Eligibility is 12 th pass as well should clear NEET cut-off as per the college. The application form of NEET is made available on it's official site. The admission process is done by maharashtra state councilling body. The obc quota is present so if one eligible under obc can apply as obc student

Placement Experience:

College don't offer any placement. 5.5 yrs mbbs includes 1 yr internship in which interns are paid 18k for month. While after mbbs you have to do service bond in rural areas in which dr.are paid 80k month.

SVNGMC UNDER GLANCE!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to be a doctor so I chose this course exam are held Every alternate month, the first-second term then prelims finally University. Exams are Quite tough to pass, Anat and the physio dept make 20-30/200 passes. Biochem passes around 100/200. But it's better as you need to fight for your eligibility. For instance, I passed every subject in every term.

A brief review of MIMSR MEDICAL COLLEGE

To get admitted in any medical colleges in India a student must undergo National eligibility cum entrance test which is also called as NEET. A student must secure rank of around 55000 to get admitted into MIMSR medical College in Maharashtra. After the results are declared Maharashtra government starts admission rounds so that a student can apply for medical colleges based on his or her rank. Application forms for admission are available on NMC website a student can also higher a counselor which can help him or her to get desired admission. The admission process is completely under Maharashtra Government and not college so no one can comment on areas of improvement. The exam for being admitted to undergraduate medical courses is NEET UG which means National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examination conducted on a national level. Yearly about 20 lakh students appear for the exam. The cutoff for open category for government medical colleges was 545 and the admissions to this institute were by national as well as state merit list.
