Campus is green lush with we'll maintained lawns and cleanliness is maintained.
Infrastructure is good but not up to date and needs development
Faculty are highly qualified and experienced.

Dislikes

Library has outdated books. Reading room is small.
Lack of drinking water facility in the campus.
Social atmosphere is not as per expectation.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is a highly reputed course that comes with job security so it is my preference. The student-faculty ratio is good. The faculties have qualified MD/MS and they are experienced in their own way of teaching the respective subjects. The term exams are held on time and in a strict manner. It's moderate to tough to clear exams.

Internships Opportunities

One year compulsory internship is present and it needs to be completed in a hospital attached to the medical college. As well as some postings during internships done at the given PHC and UHC.So it's a compulsory internship but without any stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are decided by the government body which is assigned to do so. Various scholarships are awarded on the basis of category by the government. The scholarship is provided only if the family income is below 8 lakhs per annum. There is no on-campus placement but after completion of the course, one can easily get placed in government or private hospitals.

Campus Life

Fest is held once a year. Other extracurricular activities are not much held. Books and journals are available but in older editions. Classrooms are equipped with basic amenities. Sports and other extracurricular activities are lacking on campus. Clubs and social groups are absent in the college.

Admission

Admission is based on the NEET exam and counseling is done by the Maharashtra state counseling body DMER. Eligibility is the 12th pass with the required NEET cutoff as per the respective category. Application form and fees is updated every year and they can be found on the government website.

Placement Experience:

College don't offer any placement. 5.5 yrs mbbs includes 1 yr internship in which interns are paid 18k for month. While after mbbs you have to do service bond in rural areas in which dr.are paid 80k month.

SVNGMC UNDER GLANCE!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to be a doctor so I chose this course exam are held Every alternate month, the first-second term then prelims finally University. Exams are Quite tough to pass, Anat and the physio dept make 20-30/200 passes. Biochem passes around 100/200. But it's better as you need to fight for your eligibility. For instance, I passed every subject in every term.

A brief review of MIMSR MEDICAL COLLEGE

To get admitted in any medical colleges in India a student must undergo National eligibility cum entrance test which is also called as NEET. A student must secure rank of around 55000 to get admitted into MIMSR medical College in Maharashtra. After the results are declared Maharashtra government starts admission rounds so that a student can apply for medical colleges based on his or her rank. Application forms for admission are available on NMC website a student can also higher a counselor which can help him or her to get desired admission. The exam for being admitted to undergraduate medical courses is NEET UG which means National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examination conducted on a national level. Yearly about 20 lakh students appear for the exam.
