Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to study Biological Science so I took this course. There are 8 teachers in our Zoology Department. And 55 Students in our Semester. Everyone is a highly qualified teacher, They are so friendly with the students, The Zoology department is one of the best departments in the college. It was a Moderate level of exam.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 9670 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee of my course is 4865 per Sem but it's worth it. It's almost affordable for most students. And there's no other cost. I'm getting the scholarship named Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship.

Campus Life

There's a Science exhibition arranged by the KNU, our college plays a big part in that fest. We have such a big library with more than 100k books and a big reading room, almost every book and journal is available. Classes are well managed and some departments have smart rooms with AC and Smart TVs. There is a badminton court and a big football ground, every year a badminton tournament and football tournament is organized. There are few Facebook groups that help poor, helpless people, I don't know so much about this, and these groups are run by our senior and pass-out students.

Admission

Course eligibility was Min 50% marks in the selected subject. There's a portal of TDB College, that gives updates about admission. Reservation students get access to seats in the 1st or 2nd list. I'm from the UR category. College should update their portal better, sometimes it gets glitched and then users can't log in while filling out the admission form.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It provides job opportunities for various fields such as forest service, zoo services, marine biologist and forensic. The curriculum provides hand on internship and opportunity for research in the 7th semester. More time management is required during the course to ensure proper completion of syllabus. The frequency of exam is 2 the gap between them are 4-5 months.

The course curriculum matches quite perfectly with the industry standards. The course offers the students a theoritical as well as a practical approach of learning. For example, nowadays AI has revolutionised the internet and made things much easier for humans. it gives a vast amount of knowledge regarding the relevance of "media science" nowadays. I feel the frequency of continuous assessments should be reduced to 3 instead of 4.

I chosen this college because of really good facaulties. Faculty members in the botany department are supportive and helpful. I do not have any issues regarding the faculty.
